Family Virtual Quiz

There will be a family virtual quiz on Wednesday 8th April at 5.00pm held via Zoom. The Zoom invitation is below.

This is aimed at 6 to 16 year olds with parents assisting from the sidelines. Father Peter will be the quiz master and everyone can mark themselves (no cheating!). Prizes will be given out once the lockdown has ended.

Palm Sunday (A)

Watch and participate in the Sunday Mass with Father Peter.

If you are in the St Margaret’s area please drop by and collect your blessed palm for Palm Sunday from outside the church.

Palm Sunday

This Sunday, 5th April, please put a branch on the door of your house or in the window, to celebrate Palm Sunday.

It could be any green branch you can get. This would help, despite the social distancing, to be connected as we enter into Holy Week.

We may be physically isolated, but not separated. We are united as the body of Christ.

We are the People of God, gathered by the Holy Spirit into the Church.

Re-dedication of England as Mary’s Dowry

The re-dedication of England as Mary’s Dowry is taking place throughout the country today Sunday 29th March. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we won’t be able to celebrate as expected. However, the Cardinal has recorded a video reciting the Angelus Promise and Act of Entrustment, so we can all join him and unite in prayer. History shows us that when the people pray a surrender to God’s will for their lives, society is transformed. By taking up this personal dedication in 2020, you can be a part of the renewal of this nation, drawing ourselves closer to the will of our loving God, through Mary.
